Project / Operations Management

As a licensed General Contractor with 20 years experience in the construction industry, responsibilities have included all aspects of project development and overall management. In this role, projects have been delivered using various methods including design / build, hard bid, build-to-suit, and the traditional - design / bid / build. Duties have further encompassed schedule development, cost modeling and budget management, workforce relationships with local trade contractors in both the Central Florida and Tampa Bay areas, and working in a proactive and positive method with owners, develpers (owner's reps) and local agencies.

New construction and Renovation Experience - Multiple
Delivery Methods

This relevant experience includes the delivery of new construction projects and complex renovations in the commercial market place. These projects have been accomplished through a number of delivery menthods such as design / build, build-to-suit, and hard bid.

Bid Development and Coordination

Extensive experience in managing the overall bid development process which includes performing value engineering / enhancement studies, take-offs, coordinating with cost estimating teams and utilizing strong local trade relationships.

Business Development and Client Support

Experience includes working with business development teams in related client cultivation activites to properly identify and develop targets of opportunity. The scope of these activities includes; partipation in key meetings, project feasibility assessments, presentations and proposal and project pricing development.

Permitting and Agency Coordination

Extensive experience in coordinating all permitting processes for a broad range of project types. These activities include due diligence studies to confirm a project's viability in the marketplace and provide real-time information regarding cost and scope. In addition, during a project's delivery process, this coordination and management continues through project closeout.

Coordination of Consultants

Consistently works effectively with design professionals to achieve a project's maximum value. This includes multi-disciplined teams of professionals such as architects, engineers, special consultants, and owners.

Resource Management

With Division Management experience, allocates appropriate personnel and manages responsibilities to ensure successful delivery of projects.

Feasibility Studies and Project Analysis

Works with owners and developers in assessing a project's viability through extensive due diligence activities. These activities include the evaluation of site selection, development, delivery strategies and final design construction.
